Jouw uitdagingen

  • Drafting and/or refining integration architectures in which information is effectively and efficiently shared between systems within and outside the (customer’s) internal organization.
  • Supporting (Agile) development teams to design, develop, implement and test APIs by setting up technical designs and recording technical requirements.
  • Supervising the implementation and coaching the effective use of the technical building blocks designed by you.
  • Translating architecture principles into design principles and ensuring the consistent application of these principles.

    A qualification in higher/university education in the field of Computer Science, Software Engineering, (Technical) Informatics, IT in Business, Business Information Management etc.
    You are ambitious, self-starting, result-oriented and enterprising.
    You have an excellent command of the Dutch and English language, both verbally and in writing.
    You are a team player with a critical, inquisitive attitude
    You are interested in the world around you and keen to make a difference in society.
    You can combine analytical thinking with strong communication skills
    Knowledge of relevant modern frameworks and standards such as TOGAF, Service Buses, Protocols (SOAP, REST, ebMS), API Management, DevOps and CI/CD.
    Affinity or experience with specific service buses (such as Mulesoft, Tibco, JBoss ESB) and/or orchestration design is a plus.

Wat ga jij doen als
Integration Architect?

As an integration architect at digital enablement, you are part of a young and dynamic team of integration specialists, programmers, testers, solution architects, designers, project managers and consultants who work together on a wide range of projects for both larger and smaller (inter)national organizations. For example, we are involved in identifying bottlenecks in the data exchange at customers, designing, developing and automatically testing new APIs, setting up service buses and designing and improving (technical) architectures at our customers or giving advice about data and process integration.

 

Examples include projects in which we develop a completely secure digital exchange platform for educational institutions, design an integration architecture for a domain at a large corporation and translate this into (technical) building blocks, set up a service bus or organize training in the field of Service-Oriented architectures and microservices. In addition, we are heavily involved in providing advice on identifying and improving the bottlenecks in data exchange and eliminating technical debt. As an integration architect you can make an instant impact in this!


Within KPMG you will often work in multidisciplinary teams with colleagues from other departments. As a result, you will be challenged in your own field, as well as combine different expertise to come up with solutions that really make a difference.

Sollicitatieprocedure

Stap 1 - Jouw sollicitatie

Heb je gesolliciteerd? Als wij een match zien met jouw cv en de vacature vragen wij je in de meeste gevallen een online assessment te maken. Het online assessment bestaat uit een capaciteiten test en een persoonlijkheidsvragenlijst. De resultaten geven inzicht in jouw gedragsvoorkeuren en competenties.

Stap 2 - Het eerste gesprek

Na een positieve afronding van het assessment nodigen we je uit voor een eerste gesprek met een collega van de desbetreffende afdeling en een recruiter.

Stap 3 - Vervolggesprek

Iedereen enthousiast? In veel gevallen volgt er dan een tweede gesprek. Het tweede gesprek gaat dieper in op de functie en de inhoudelijke thema’s waar je mee te maken gaat krijgen. Een business case kan onderdeel zijn van het vervolggesprek. Soms vindt er nog een derde gesprek plaats.

Stap 4 - Het aanbod
